MessageGreat site !! I'm currently doing a research paper for my history class at Averett University. I live off of Ferry Rd. on Searcy St. ,near the old Laurel Cliff Plantation. On Martin Rd. just off Ferry Rd., about 1/4 way down on the left, there are about 50 graves. The head stones look to be river bed stones. There is no writting on the stones. The graves have settled and sonme pieces of wood can be seen sticking out from the grave site. Just to the right of the site is a new housing development. It's possible that these grave could that of slaves from the plantation. Again great site and its very helpful. smilie

MessageDanny and Bobby,

Wow! Class A and a bunch of other superlatives are needed to describe your Website, but moreover, your dedication to the work at the mill site.
Dave Newman and I were in Bedford County over the weekend cleaning up a couple of cemeteries. He told us about the thrill of working with you fellows.
Marvelous job. Everyone's looking forward to seeing the display at the Danville Science Center.
Best wishes!
Lawrence
