| Message | It seemed just yesterday we signed the BIG card at Bethany Presbyterian Church for Shane, which was a couple years ago. Just a few weeks ago we were updated of his failing health. My daughter and I are continuing to pray for his families and all those he has touched in his short life. May his spirit live on throughout you all. |

My son was diagnosed with Leukemia in Aug 2004. He is now 4 years old and fighting so hard. You two are so remarkably strong. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. | Message | What a beautiful and touching service this evening. I am so thankful I made the trip, and I was astounded by those who traveled greater distances than the five-plus hours I did to north central Nebraska to pay tribute to Shane and his tremendous family. God blessed me with my friendship with Shane, and I take heed the words shared in Shane's memorial: When someone like Shane has the heart to praise our Lord, Jesus Christ, even in the darkest of days, we should rejoice. I mourn Shane's passing, because I miss my friend. But I shall do all I can to honor the life he lived. |

| Message | To Shane's family, My deepest sympathies to Shane's family and friends at this sad time. I was so touched by his strength and his heart when I first met him at the Tucson Rodeo in 2004. Ever since then we have kept up with his progress and have included Shane in our annual Tucson Rodeo Special, always directing people to Shane's website. This February will be no different as Shane will have a special place in the 2007 Tucson Rodeo Special on KOLD-TV. I know it isn't much but it is our way of letting the rodeo family here in Southern Arizona know about a great cowboy and a great human being. God Bless Shane, we know you are in a better place. | Message | Chad & Jesse, I would like to make the services this evening and am not able, but know you will have plenty of family and friends for support and comfort. Try to content yourselves in knowing that Shane is now out of pain and in a much better place - let his memory live on. He will be in the front row cheering everyone of you on each journey you may endure. I never knew Shane as an adult, but sounds as if he grew to be one heck of a kind and caring man. I hope his family all the best. Best wishes and my prayers are with you all today as you say your final goodbyes. |
