MessageDrury Family
I didn't have the pleasure to know or meet Shane, but we followed his bullriding career. Sorry to hear of his passing.
My father's name was Jesse Clarence Drury and we have a grandson named Jesse after his grandfather. Dont't if there is any family connection or not? Our family ties to Minnesota and North Dakota. I would be interested to know if there are any connections.
Sincerely yours,
Kent Drury

MessageThe memorial service in Rapid City last night was so inspirational and such a devout and sincere tribute to the life of Shane Drury. The Very Rev Dr Robert T. Wagner eloquently spoke of Shane's life and the qualities that he possessed and gave witnesses to in his daily living. Rev Wagner referenced the cowboy way of life, their christian ways and their respect for life-both the life of their friends and family and the life of their animals. Shane will be honored best by all of us if we treat family and friends the way he would want us to--in christian love. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to attend a memorial service in Rapid City.

MessageChad & Jesse,
We were so crushed when we were unable to make it to Shane's memorial service in NE. Thanks so much for sharing the service with us last night. What a tribute!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shane is very proud of you both!! smilie smilie Shane's legacy will continue to live on in and through you and those who loved Shane. Grace, our 4yr old, pretends to be Shane daily riding bulls in the rodeo! She calls him her hero....And what a hero for a 4 year old to have!!!!! Thanks again for touching our lives and hearts with that most fitting tribute. God bless you all.

Love,
John, Tricia & Grace Nelson
