| Message | Hi Shane  You've got it whittled down to 2 sessions to finish up the week! Yeah!!! Just think today you will have the distraction of doing exercise while you receive the chemo (if they decide to help you get ride of the extra fluid, that is). From all I've been hearing about how many steps we need to take every day, that will really help you get your step count up!!! | Message | Wendy just told me, tonight, about your unfortunate relapse. I'm so sorry to hear about it; had hoped you were out of the woods, when you left Omaha. In case you don't recognize the name, I am a swimmer at our Y, musician & competitive dancer, and a crazy 42 yr-old gal, who got my greatest thrill from mounting unsuspecting bulls from the age of 6-37. I'm also a committed Christian, who just received news of a new mass on my yearly mammogram, which had disappeared 2 years ago. I'm doing a lot of soul-searching & preparation, including prayer blessings with sage, in the Native tradition. You will be added to my personal prayer list for the next blessing, after my appt. with surgical specialist in 2 weeks. My best friend, Clayton Ford, (JD's older brother) and I are hiking up to the top of Bear Butte next weekend on a spiritual pilgrimmage. I'll make an additional set of tobacco ties & present them on your behalf. I'll let my young acquaintances in PBRFC know, too. Painfully independant souls like us are fortunate to have such close-knit suppport available through our fellowship as cowboys, cowgirls, and, most of all, Christians. |

I remember hearing the stories of Hope and Shane from Conessa celebrating your wedding to you battling this cancer together. I was really sorry to hear that you had to begin the battle again. | Message | Hi, I was so glad to hear you are getting through the chemo ok. I am praying for you both in so many ways. I am really glad you have the website. With the concern and thoughts and prayers that are utmost in my mind, and in many others I am sure, it is good to go the the website and be updated and connected to so many others that leave messages. Besides Jesus loving you, there are lots of others. This morning I came across a verse I wanted to share. Psalm 10:17 Lord you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will listen to their cries and comfort them. I am a little at a loss of all the names that are missing you--shada etc. We may need pictures. Your strength and courage are awesome.
