This is a tough opponent for you personally but know with God's help you can ride this one out just like you have before. | Message | Hi Shane and Hope, I had to work an extra day today and had to be there by 7. So I got up at 5 so I would have time to check your site before I went. I was hoping the day of no news wasn't a bad sign. Guess it wasn't. Glad the port insertion went ok. And I hope you are feeling ok with the chemo treatments. Bet you sure are glad to have 2 weeks of being home. I really like your website and I enjoyed Matt Ehlers news. That would be pretty scary to have the door sucked off the barn while you were inside. People down here are all excited because this is supposed to be a weekend without rain. Someone said it would be the first weekend in 9 weeks that we hadn't had rain on Saturday. Wish we could send some of it out to the western part of the state. Take care and enjoy the time at home. We won't let up on the prayers, and you keep us posted even if the news is less eventful. | Message | Shane and Hope Hope you are feeling better and hopefully surgery went good. Been thinking quite a bit about you guys here lately, we are praying for healing, and for peace to surround you while you endure all that you will go through. I'm sure you heard about the tornadoes Mon. night. I guess they sucked the doors off of Pitzer's big shed while some of the people were inside. I heard they had to put some horses down. We went into town and roped last night, not much excitement except somebodys horse pulled back and broke his lead rope, so they roped him and drug him back. I don't know any thing else I guess, so see you later. |

| Message | Hi Unca Tane It is 4 in the mornin and I am up! I do not fel like going to sleep so I am writin you. I woke up wen daddy left tis morning and it is soo fun to keep mama up  I went to see dr Singh the other day. I am 15lbs 2oz and 25 1/2 in long! He told mama you and me should both eat lots of watermelon and cantaloupe. I want you and aunti Hope to come home. I miss both of you  I am starting to get sleepy now!love ya! Jenae |

| Message | Hey there Shane! I've been praying that your port surgery went well this morning. I hope this one doesn't give you problems. I wish they could come up with a better solution for getting blood and giving the chemo...a fawcett perhaps? Sorry, poor attempt at humor. It's hot and humid in Chambers today. We've been trying to dry the alfalfa and put it up for over a week, maybe it'll be baled before the next storm! Take care and please tell Hope to get me your Chocolate chip cookie recipe...sounds like the cookies are famous!! |

I also wanted to pass along the well wishes of the entire Pretty Prairie committee. You will be on our minds and in our hearts all next week.
