I am so glad that you are feeling better and that the chemo may be able to be done in O'Neill. I would think that would make it easier than having to travel and stay somewhere. There is just no place like home, and especially when you aren't feeling too well. I was glad for the update. I check the site several times a day just to keep up on how things are going with you. | Message | I go to your website everyday to make sure that I keep up with what is happening with you guys. Thank you so much for creating the website and for updating it so much. I'm sure you enjoy it just as much as everyone else because you always have so many messages to read. I enjoy it immensely because through your messages Shane, you appear to have such a positive outlook on everything you are going through. We can all learn from your couragousness!! You inspire me so much because of your lack of complaining and you seem to never dwell on the cards that you were delt. I really like the scriptures you and Hope put on the website - it is amazing how much strength you can draw from them and what a comfort they are. I'm sure you realize that you are not alone in this battle, we are all here with you. You have a week now to relax and to take it easy. | Message | Dear Shane, I was so glad to hear that you were feeling better. I had worked several days in a row and then had today off. I walked on the road and it is so cool and nice. I thought how tough if would have been to be feeling yukky and then to have to put up with the terrible heat we had been having. This must seem really nice if you're feeling better and then it's cooler too. Yesterday when I drove to work, they had just had the downpour of 2 inches in a short time. I didn't get any of it, but there was flooding in the streets and some of the people I work with had had their cars flood out and one had water come in up to her seat. I hear they got rain out at Alliance today. I was hoping Sandi and Gary got some. Enjoy the time at home. I am glad Hope got back. And I hope you keep feeling well. Love Linda |
