MessageHey Shane. Sorry to hear your feeling bad. I know it doesn't seem like it but I just know that better days are around the corner. I just got back from a business trip in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. They said that a few days before I got there they had a big PRCA show in Marble Falls, Texas. What a beautiful place that was. Wish you all could have been with me.

Talk to you soon. Love you both

MessageShane My husband and I are retired from Calif. and have a place on an Island in Canada. We are about 6 hours from Iron River,Mi.We volunteered to play some Gospel Music for the Cowboy Service at the rodeo,in July.It was our first time we ventured out to play by ourselves.Usually we have 6 in the group, they couldn't make it.During the service,a few people shared things that were going on in their lives and of course your father in law was one of them.I am thankful we were able to go to the rodeo, play music, attend the service and that I looked up your site and read the Scriptures and shared a part of your life with you.We will be praying for you and your family. You are an inspiration. Love and Prayers Ray and Dona Manley Look forward to meeting you next year in Iron River.

MessageDear Shane,
I was sorry to hear you weren't feeling well yesterday. I hope with a night of rest you are refreshed and feeling better today. Are you able to rest well?
This morning I found several verses that I thought I would share with you. They kind of fit a theme.
Psalm 18:39 You armed me with strengh for battle; you made my adversaries bow at my feet.
2 Chronicles 20:15 Don't be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God's.
I hope the verses are a source of strength and comfort. I am in total awe of how you keep on in the face of what I have no idea of what it takes. But you have earned the respect of us all in the fine way you meet the adversity. That is the mark of a truly fine person.
I hope you are able to enjoy your week off and feel good. And am so glad that you will be able to get the chemo in O'Neill. God bless. You and Hope are in my prayers always. Love Linda

MessageHi Shane & Hope,

This is Victoria, Jeremy's wife, and I have heard a lot about you. Even though I haven't met you in person, I am encouraged by your faith and strength through this battle. I was just reading through the daily updates and I find it amazing that you both are able to pick out the good in every situation and not dwell on the not-so-good stuff. It is through God's grace and faithfulness to His children that you are able to do this. I believe that a huge part of healing comes from the mind and the attitude that you have about the situation. So I encourage you to continue to search for the good in all things and hold on to that positive attitude! Jeremy and I are in prayer for you continuously. The Great Physician is on your side!! I Thessalonians 5:16-18 Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

With many thoughts & prayers,
Jeremy & Victoria Griebel
