Message	Shane and Hope, Shane it was nice to see you in Taylor on Sunday. I enjoyed our visit. I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts. I'm going to share your web site with my dad. He loves to follow rodeo and people he has shirttail connections to. He's having his only little round with bladder cancer. He had the tumor removed on August 18th and is two thirds his treatments. Message	Hi Shane and Hope, So glad to hear you are improving. Have you tried just running water down that gopher hole until he comes out? Actually I used to have pretty good luck with a trap. The last few years has been so dry here I think they must have headed your way for some softer ground . We just got back from Yellowstone and Cody, Wyo. Had a great time!!. It is beautiful there!!!! I think I'm ready to move. Of course I'd have be moving alone. Can't do it because I'd be too far away from Tare : We got to baby sit him again. He is so cute Take care, Sand

Message	Hi Shane and Hope.... I am glad to know that you are gaining in your recovery! I check the board every day to see how you are doing, but am bad at writing very often! I DO have a thought for you and your gofer! I have had good luck with moth balls and amonia..... (cheap cure).... poke holes along their run and then stuff a few moth balls in them, and then pour amonia into the same hole.....do this every 20 feet or so. I have had good luck doing this, and others say it doesn't work, but if you haven't tried this method yet it is worth a try! Amonia is cheap, and use about half of those half gallon bottles per hole....so, if you were going to get that size bottle, it would do 2 places. I will also light my candle for that....my candle works for MANY THINGS ! Take care....have a GREAT weekend! God Bless you both. Maureen

Message	Shane, I just visited your web site, and enjoyed your pictures and your strong faith, I am glead to hear you are having a good week, but do not let that gopher get the best of you, smile. I have kept you in my prayers, and will continue to , My 31 year old son Corey jsut found out he has cancer, he had surgery on Sept, 13 and will start chemo on Oct 11, so we do not know what we are in for but prob best we don't, but I have faith he will be fine, he is a fighter, and keeps his humor, his chemo will last 4 months, again I will keep you in my prayers, you get better, soon, and email prayer friend, Judy

Message	Shane, It's good news to hear you're recovering from the surgery so well. I sure hope that continues. We're having a beautiful Fall day here. It's in the 50's, a little breezy, and sunny. I had to laugh about your gopher story. It's not often something gets the best of you. I haven't got much planned for the weekend; just housework, etc. I worked most of last weekend, so I'm looking forward to that, of all things. That's pathetic!@#? Message	Shane, It is so good to hear that your are feeling better and having a good week. We hope each and every week continues to be a better one. This weather is so nice so it is good you feel up to enjoying it. Some gophers you just can't get. I had one smart one that finally took a wrong turn and made a hole in Blaze's stall in the barn. Being the hyperactive wonderful horse she is, I wasn't surprised to see the gopher dead in there a few days later. Would you like to borrow her??? Have a great weekend!
