| Message | I visited your webpage and saw the picture of your father. It seems like he's only just left this earth. Your father was very kind. When he took time to talk to my daughter, Kimberly. The very first concert for her!!! She is now 38 and has MS. Our girls didn't like southern gospels. It was the only music we would play. She has a story. Yor father sent me a card. It was typed and said You pray for me and I'll pray for you.I knew God would listen to your father. I loved his singing and his precious love he had for CHRIST  |

| Message | Jimmy, just want to say that we sure miss your dad. I was one of the lucky ones to have been present at the first singing of the Blackwood Brothers when they came to Ft. Worth before the plane accident. Throughout the years, I heard them many, many times and always loved them. I am so happy that you have followed in his footsteps. | Message | Thanks so much for your letter and information on the web site. I am 62 years young and grew up with both the Blackwood Brothers, Statesmen and all the other groups that came to Texas when I was very young. It was a wonderful experience and I cannot begin to tell you how much it meant to us. It still does. The Gaither Homecoming series has been such a blessing to our family. My husband and I are retired and cannot attend them as much as we used to but being able to see them on TV is a blessing also. Thanks to you and your wonderful family for being the kind of Christian people that you are. God bless all of you. |

Don't know if you remember me, I was named after your father and was in the Gospel Music industry with many of the groups for many years....sideman musician. For the past 14 years I have benn the bass guitarist and background vocalist for Grand Ole Opry star and Hall of Famer, Bill Anderson. Would love to spend a little time with you in the future on one of my visits to Memphis....my wife and I come there from time to time....just want to touch base with you and get caught up on everything and everybody!
