| Message | I am from 1957 batch!!(yes 1957). I am very pleased that SJBHS has its own site. When I saw this site, my mind raced back to 1957. Mr.Karunakaran was our class and english teacher. Miss Aloo Schroff (maths), Miss Peggy Soares(french), Mr.Patak(science), Mr.Patankar (geography), Miss Kalyaniwala(history) and Mr.Sharma(hindi). Our teachers were really very good. It was in the year 1957, hindi was made a compulsory subject for the first time, in the S.S.C. exams. It goes to the credit of Mr.Sharma and his tireless efforts that all the students passed in hindi. I left India in 1962 for further studies in Germany and I had lost all contacts to school and classmates. However during a business trip to India I could get in touch with my school friend Darayas Vevaina in 1997. Through him I could get in touch with Shamsuddin, Najoo, Hariharen, Nissim, Winni, Sarla and others. Looking back, I must say I was previlaged to be in this school with such good teachers and classmates. Indeed it was a very memorable period of my life.
