MessageI felt a sense of great pride to be associated with our school - SJBHS, my alma mater.

I passed out of school in 1984 - so its been almost 20 years, but I still cherish the good times I had in school. The teachers were and still are a source of inspiration.

I vividly remember the vada-pao in the canteen, the impromptu cricket matches during the recess, the annual day and prize ceremonies and of course the school picnic.

I recently visited the school (during one of my trips to India) and took my 3-year old son to see the school. He then remarked, I also want to go to Daddy's school

Anyone from the 84 batch -- lets rewind and share memories.

Cheers

MessageThus far I had good impression & reputation about your esteemed school.

But the management's decision in admission for XI Std this is ridiculous. Despite having required percentage and being minority catagory, your school have not given admission in commerce to a student. At the same time, your school have given admission to another student who is having less percentage. This system of the school lead to a dilema that there are unethical things happening in a Christian Institution. This has demotivated a family who is in a piquent situation and the future of the child is in dark. It is not expected from a Christian institution. Probably your institution does not know the meaning of Christian. How your institution can expect support from minority community Christians of the country for a so called Christian institution. The family who is in agony now praying with tears to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for justice. Definitely the Almighty Lord will answer to their tears. - Well Wisher -

MessageAshok Nambiar - I don't recall you from any of my classes but after 23 years in the US, my memory is failing. I am curious to find out about Sachin Almel whom you met. Is he a Doctor now? Do you know where he is? Also, any word on Ravishankar Rao or Arun Kamat would be fantastic. Bala sent me his picture and I owe him one of me and my wife.

I work at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and so does my wife Ekta, and have frequently traveled to Boston for work. Fabulous City; really enjoy visiting there. Send me your email address and next time I am in Boston, I'll give you a call. Or you can contact me when you visit Chicago.

By the way, what insurance co do you work for? Merely curious.

Thanks.

I'd like to meet you when visit

MessageDon't see anyone from our 1988 batch on the mailing list, but nice to see the big list of enthusiastic postings - hello and cheers everyone! It was fun to read about the much feared Ms.Violet - I think she terrorized us for 2-3 years! I recall having a good time in classes by Rajaram and Manju Sadarangani. Overall a great time in school and I have many fond memories, but the memory does play tricks. Anyone recall the oh-so-painful moments when the cane impacted the rear? smilie
