MessageHello Mike;

I just now checked out your website, after emailing you last week while on the road looking at blue 67 SS's. I'm afraid I discovered you a little too late, but I think I'll be happy with what I found in NE: A numbers matching 396/325 Nantucket Blue 4sp/bench with Bright Blue interior, done right in '04. Still looks like new, although I need to dial in the carb to my liking. It will be a challenge to keep it stock, as I am an old drag racer. I love your beautiful '66. I had a '66 and two '67 street racers back in the seventies. What we didn't know then, huh?

MessageMike,
You were referred through Team Chevelle forums.
I'm looking into purchasing a 67 Chevelle SS but I'm not sure which way to go with this. A full restoration of a numbers matching (preferred), a restomod or a super nice 138 body with new drive train and wiring. I don't have a lot of garage room for working on a car and would rather just keep it nice and drive it. Show off. I'm 58 so laying on the floor and wrenching on things should be kept to a minimum.
My budget after selling my Z would be around the $30K mark.
Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Mike

MessageHi Mike,

I just wanted to say thank you for all you have done in helping me find my 1966 Chevelle SS. It's been almost a year since we started the process. I remember telling you I needed a car that was restored because I did not have the time to do it myself. You showed me many restored cars. And finally this past Monday a truck came to my house to drop off my long awaited 66 SS true 13817 Mist Blue black interior. that's the pic of it on your site under "Sold". I could not be happier it was everything you told me and more. Thanks again and I would recommend you to to anyone looking for 66 or 67 Chevelles!

MessageI am restoring a 1966 Chevelle SS 13817. Originally white with bronze interior. Third owner 47,000 original miles. Original owner says the car was an L-78 4-speed. The mounting holes for the knee knocker tach are still in the dash. Sadly, it was back halfed and made into a super stock drag car in 1973. After it's racing career the car was stripped and left to rust. Worse yet all the original paperwork and drivetrain are long gone. Life goes on. It is still a 1966 Chevelle SS.
