| Message | Hi Mike, I have been to your website quite a few times and have seen some pretty impressive cars on it. I have been looking for a '67 Chevelle for quite some time now, well trying to work on the bank account.. (had kids first, lol). I was lucky enough to find a couple here in Ontario to look at. Mind you they turned out to be very poor examples but at least I was able to get up close and personal, I've never been lucky enough to have owned one. I have been talking to a guy out in Arkansas about one and was wondering if there was any way of tracking the history or previous owners through the VIN? Or if you have any pointers as to questions I should or should'nt ask. I'm a bit concerned as he has only owned it for 8 months, claims he has come across a '55 Chevy that he wants to get. I'm a bit nervous in ttrying to work on a deal with something so far away.. Greatly appreciate any advice you might have on this. Thanks, John |

| Message | I am interested in finding out how many 1966 Chevelle's came with a 427 engine 4 speed trans and posi rear end. And how many 1967's came with the same equipment. When I was a kid in Kansas City Mo, one of our family friends that worked at the Chevy plant had a 1966 SS that was maroon exterior and tan interior. It had a 427 from the factory, that he told everyone that the motor was an experimental motor due to be put out in the 1969 corvette. I have had numerous chevelles through the years but have never seen another one like that one. The particular car had the fender tags stating SS427 on it and the air cleaner the same. How rare was this car? |

I brought the car back from the dead with alot of help from my friends. With 2 kids I don't have time for a project. I also don"t have the knowledge to purchase a car that someone tells me is original and numbers matching. I like bench seats with a 4 speed. If you have anybody in mind please contact me. |

| Message | i have a nice marina blue /black interior 66 138 car with 36000 miles. nom 396/325 horse/ auto- buckets-console tach- gauges- pwr. strg. very nice driver -- would sell or would trade even,up, or down for a comparable 67 138 car. must be butternut yellow,4 sp. buckets, console , big block but nom ok. |
