MessageDarren

I don't care what some of those dip shit critics said about the Fountain. I just watched it for the fourth time and it just keeps getting better. I judge a movie on how emotional I get and it makes me teary eyed and emotional every time I watch it. The last time was tonight with my 15 year old daughter and if she watched the whole thing and it wasn't team Jacob it must be good. Just keep up the great work I own all your movies with the Fountain being my only copy on blue ray so far. Congrats on the Wrestler and again thank you for your movies.. I remember the night after watching Pi when i live out in Vegas how I called mt buddy Gerald the move buff and went on and on about how great it was. Then Requiem for a dream came out and that was even better. It is amazing to me on how your movies just keep getting better and better... Anyways enough of the Gushing crap. I hope you do get to do a directors cut of the Fountain and I never Knew about the graphic comic so now i am off to track one down...

Thanks again. From Byron Center, Michigan.. ( I know Why did I leave Vegas)

MessageJust wanted to let you, Rachel, Hugh, Ellen and all involved with "The Fountain" know...

I think it to be one of the most brilliant films ever made; a story told exquisitely.

Like Pi and Requiem, so much information and emotion is communicated that it can overwhelm. The feelings it stirred inside were tremendous. My initial reaction was to reject it because I was uncomfortable exploring the themes of mortality and death.

Now, I find "The Fountain" to be a comforting. I think you have accurately described the "cycle of life". It has helped quell my fear of death and dying.

Truly, the road to awe.

Thank you!

I recommend this outstanding picture to everyone I know.

MessageWow, Aronofsky is my all time favorite director. The Fountain is the most beautiful movie I have ever seen, Aronofsky and Mansell were destined to work together. The Fountain, Requiem For a Dream, Pi, all amazing movies. I was somewhat disappointed with The Wrestler though, it was done incredibly well and was a great movie, but when I watch an Aronofsky film I am looking for a mind blowing film that change your life, because thats what his other three films did, they made me view life in a whole new way.

Darren, you are a genius, I can't wait to see what you make next.
