| Message | Darren, I just contacted Protozoa Pictures to inquire about any available internships/ entry level positions. I was crushed to learn that internships are only available for current students. As I am a recent college graduate, this no longer applies to me. I'm curious if you have any suggestions or advice for someone in my position who doesn't have any experience in the film industry yet, but longs to write for the screen. I don't know how else to say this without sounding trite, but I truly love your films. After seeing Black Swan in theaters all those years ago, I felt numb because it was such an intense ride for me, one dripping with surrealism that is uncommon in our current cinema. Each scene in the film is beautifully crafted. It is one of my favorites of your works. Thank you, Gloria |

| Message | Things may sound little lame until now, but the fact behind all these is he has multiple personality disorder and he killed his ex girlfriend. The girl who he's constantly seeing during the movie is his ex girlfriend, but he doesn't remember it. (This fact wont not be told in the movie) Okay things are still going normal, and lame you might say. Another psychological disorder he has is synestesia. He associates colors with people, he sees people in colors yet he doesn't know which color he is himself. He asks his girlfriend what color is he, but she doesn't understand.(his color will be revealed in the end of the movie) in the end of the movie after going completely mad(there are things which cause it) he kills his bandmates, and passes out. When he wakes up there are no death bodies or blood around, he goes outside to his car in panic to leave the village, his girlfriend comes to him. He asks 'what color am i?' And when the camera turns to her again, it's not his girlfiend it is his ex girlfriend whom he killed. And she replies 'black' and they get in the car together and leave. Things got little bit interesting right? Here comes an another fact, during the movie time the main character is not able to talk to this girl he sees(his ex, but he doesnt remember)but in the end she talks to him, and there are no evidence of the death bodies he left behind. The fact behind this is, during his lifetime all psychological problems he had made him lose a bit of his soul.*will continue |
