| Message | I enjoy your films. I'm sorry to hear about your petition in support of Roman Polanski's "freedom". Polanski is a great artist. He is also a child rapist who chose to become a fugitive from justice. The one does not excuse the other. Luc Besson knows Polanski and admires his work, but I hear he will not sign your petition, because he has a 13 year old daughter. Maybe that's what it takes to understand why your view is so wrong-headed. |

| Message | I’ve been a fan for many years, however… Regardless of his talent, or the passage of time, Roman Polanski drugged and molested a 13 year or girl before forcing anal and vaginal intercourse on her. He then spat in the face of the American justice system and fled without paying for his crime. How you can attempt to rally support for him is beyond me. I am aware that many other in the entertainment industry are also supporting Mr. Polanski. You “demand his immediate release”? Where do you get off demanding anything? You should all be ashamed of yourself. I sure am. |

| Message | Dear Sir/Madam, Please pass on my disgust at Mr Aronfsky's support of a man who plead guilty to drugging and raping a 13 year old girl and then fled before paying his dues to society. I only hope that Mr Aronofsky never has to see anyone close to him survive an assault such as this at such a tender age only to watch the criminal responsible escape unpunished. | Message | I have been a big fan of your work as a filmmaker so far, but I do not believe I can ever support another one of your projects again after seeing that you signed your name to a petition to free a man who has until now escaped punishment for drugging and anally raping a 13 year old girl. Because I find your support of him so morally reprehensible, I hope you will release some sort of statement explaining your rationale for this. And btw, ones 's artistic achievement does not excuse one's criminal conduct. Nor does having a Holocaust connection. |
