MessageI'm researching the circumstances surrounding the sinking of my great grandfather's ship, the SS North Wales sunk on 16th November 1914, he was the skipper. I came across your short history on the event and wondered if you have any further details. This is the first reference to the incident that I have come across and therefore would be delighted to hear more. I do hope so.

MessageThank you for such a great site. My querie centers around the sinking of a vesessel in the English channel circa 1914-1918. The name that I have been given is the Minnie. I am trying to tract one Charles Sylvain (Sylvester) Thibeau from Canada who is supposed to have died as a result of the sinking. Do you know where I may find a crews manifest for such a ship or ships.

Thanks

Don

MessageTo Tony Allen,
Tony, Please look at ebay #380050378330
It's a photo of the S.S. Oaxaca
I've attempted to dive on this wreck for years and when we got on it, the water was so bad we decided to try another time.
Thanks, Roy Ekstrum, Victoria Texas

MessageHello again, and if I may, I have been searching for US Navy buddy by name of Richard Irving Allen, a shipmate with TACRON 22 during 1961 and/or 1962. Another shipmate, Errol Greig, in Louisiana, had contact few yrs ago, when Allen was in FLA. Just maybe he's a salty fisherman and someone knows him. He's a large guy and was a Radioman, like me. If this an intrusion, my apologies. Clark RM2 TACRON 22. See this outfit on Google or Yahoo. Thanks in advance.

Messagesmilie Hi Tony, Nice website you have there, 'been scrutting your old pictures of plymouth. Those where days of fishing, wheren't they?? Myself I've been chartering of the Belgian coast for 11 years now for a ship owner, and before used to be 'pro', mostly english channel and whole of the North-sea, whilst having me own vessel and using it in my 'free time' catching bass, which is more my speciallity...
Your doing a fine job with the wrecks for Jan, he comes diving with me from time to time. Congrats for your support...
Cheers and greets for now..
Philippe
