| Message | Vonnie, That was a very nice article that you wrote about Mr. Arlton. I thought you did a really nice job. I had him for chemistry my junior year at Yamato and he was a great teacher. I was definitely not a good chemist and had a little trouble with some chemicals bubbling out of a beaker in the lab one day. Poor Mr. Arlton!!! I thought he was going to come unglued that day. He handled it well and no one got chemicals on them. It was not funny at the time, but it is now. I got to speak with him at the first reunion and really enjoyed seeing him. | Message | Hi Vonnie, This is your cousin from Concord, CA looking in to see what you were up to on Christmas Day. The photo's were great and by the way, Strawberry Cream Cake is my very favorite. As of Dec. 2006, I've retired and so has Gary. It's great not having to get up so early in the morning. I'm the night owl. Gary is doing well and you know . . .Richard sure gets around. He showed up at our house with Mary and every one had a great time. After all these years, you still look great. We live so close and need to get together. Thanks for letting us view your wonderful website. Lets keep in touch. Oh! By the way, Happy Belated Anniversary. This past September 24th, Gary and I had our 40th Wedding Anniversary. | Message | Hi Vonnie ! Thanksgiving greetings from Huntington, WV. Really miss being back there for the mini-reunions. If you recall I previously suggested trying to add a map feature to the Yamato web site so that someone could click on a state and get a list of links to alumni in that state - this would make setting up mini-reunions so much easier. Hope you can put in a good word or many such where it will do the most good. Tony -1964 |
