| Message | Well hello guys im briton here in the philippines so you might be asking why would a foreigner be concerned of our country? simply because i have grown to like it here and here i have met many interesting friends like Miguel A. a tall and strong bloke well anyway while i was watching the tellie with Mike(Miguel A.) there was this documentary about pasig river so it showed a river full of grime..so i asked Mike wat's with? he replied that there are many homeless people and there are blokes that use the river as a paperwaste bin and worse some people use it as a loo(toilet in Kings English) which realy rattled my nerves so i asked him can't people just sod off and use land as a loo? he said some people are just too poor and lost that they simply lost their ability to think straight these people only think about their survival nothing more nothingless well i thought isn't the government doing something about this? so the chap on the tellie says that the government has been doing numerous clean up drives...so i thought whats a clean up drive if there are still homeless people and whats the clean up drive for if theres no law that is fearful enough that people would think twice before throwing things in it... so what the government do is to give the homes to the homeless,feed them and in heavens name give them good toilets and jobs and second is to make a law that would rattle litter bugs. well thats all. | Message |  It really is a pity that the once lively and beneficial river has turned into a lifeless and harmful mass of water. However,I am glad to say that there is a website dedicated to the rehabilitation of Ilog Pasig.  Considering the easy access to the Internet, this website is an effective way of disseminating information and raising awareness about the worsening condition of one of the most important rivers in the Philippines and how our activities contributed or still contribute to this situation. If we let this problem unsolved, we will lose more than just a river.  I hope that this website will serve as an eye opener to lots of people. I also hope that the efforts of restoring the beauty of Ilog Pasig will not be futile. |

| Message | I was invited by Sarah Hermosura. Pasig River is one of the abused body of water due to activities of man. Garbage that has been thrown and chemicals coming from the factories are some factors that made it polluted. Because of these pollutants, water borne diseases occur like cholera (carried from vibro cholerae),typhoid fever (from microorganisms are being spread out and makes people sick). Airborne diseases are also produced because of the methane gas which harms the lives of the residents. Nowadays, it's still the problem of the society not only in the Pasig River but in every community. If people are well-disciplined this may not happened. If our surroundings are clean, it stops the spread of disease. Also, it expresses how beautiful the nature is!  I love this site! It's GREAT!THUMBS UP! |

| Message | Invited by Sarah Hermosura Everytime I hear the song "Anak ng Pasig" it always reminds me how polluted the river is. As far as I know our government is still conducting PROJECTS to clean that river to avoid diseases that it brought to the residence nearby the river. ILOG PASIG once becomea tourist spot in our country but because if people's lack of discipline and lack of concern to our environment. ILOG PASIG turned out to be the NIGHT MARE of most of the people who suffered from diseases it brought such as cholera, diarrhea and others. Thanks for this site, people will know the importance of ILOG PASIG and what our bas attitude brought to us.  |

| Message | I was invited by Rick Michael Balbuena  I felt down on myself when I found out that Ilog Pasig is now a garbage place, where once people swim and go fishing their is now a place polluted by ourselves because of being careless to this beauty that is now CR or trush for others. We should help protect the ilog pasig or else the it will might happen to the other bodies of water or land in our country. |
