MessageWell I have been visiting this town, and was handed a flyer from a polite young man saying that a new taxi firm had started, named "Abbey Cars" so as i was going out that night i gave them a go

The car was on time, and the driver was a pleasure to talk to.

They might have only just started up and I only a visit the area once a month but when I do they get my vote.

When I Want A Cabbie T Will Call ABBEY !!!!!

MessageHello. I was born in Lynn March 4 , 1959 . My mums name was Maureen Brown. I think I was born in a house not a hospital. I know my mum enjoyed the party seen in those days. She also had a sister named Daphne , Carol . If anyone knows these lovely girls then, please contact me. I have some questions out of curiosity mostly. I live in America. I did see a gentlemen in this guestbook that was in Lynn at that time that also enjoyed the local watering holes. His last name was also Brown. My nickname is Minnie. Id love to talk with anyone that knew these girls. smilie

MessageMy mother grew up in Lynn. She spent most of her growing years in Cresswell St. I used to visit in summers as a child. Haven't been back since 1986 but hope to bring my sons one day. Still have relatives in Lynn. My favorite place was the Tuesday market and visiting Castle Rising. I still buy Norfolk lavender over the internet. smilie

MessageI was stationed at RAF Sculthrope, back in 1959 thru 1961. I had many of a good times in Kings Lynn, I was at the Palm Court about 2 or 3 nights a week, those were the good old days. I would like to hear from anyone that went to the Palm Court back in those days.
