MessageFS T. Murray MBE--book in progress. 98% fiction, thriller-type...military based novel. Have one accomplished author offered to help me "ghost-write" but of course, she would have to be paid...right now, do not want to take that route. In the event this book is a success, you and your family will not be forgotten when it comes to royalties. The book is not meant to be upsetting but celebration of your life....Sincerely wishing you and yours all the best.....Warm Regards, Sue, Tommy etc etc and all the critters....stay in touch: at least w/Tommy...he really could use a good friend right about now!! smilie

MessageHello,

I am looking to relocate upon retirement. My dream is to find a small flat someplace in the UK where I can happily live with my sewing machine and a cat as a companion.

After looking at many towns and villages, Kings-Lyme looks wonderful to me.

Can anyone tell me what daily life might be like for an active pensioner? What can one do on a daily basis! Are there plenty of shoppes, walking trails, bike paths, maybe a part time job?

Thank you. smilie
