Message | My line is actually thru Robert Owens a relative of Thomas Owens. Robert's wife died in childbirth and hence delayed his trip to Oregon with Thomas. Robert and daughters came in the 1845 wagon train. Unfortunatly, Robert was killed in a land dispute in 1846. Because of his death, Thomas took the daughters, Ellen (my great, great, grandmother)and Catherine in. Ellen Married Horace Minor, hence the connection. I haven't been able to find out much about Robert or his wife Ellen ?. The MINOR line is thru Thomas MInor and Grace Palmer. Thanks, Ron |
