| Which Family Line? | Burton/Brady |
| Was my information helpful? | Yes |
| Message | Hello, I am doing research on the Burton family. We have been looking for my great grandmother's maiden name for more than 50 years. We think based on your research that she was Jennie Burton (twin of Margaret and sister to Francis). They're mother was Irish. They lived in Portland during that time, and my father thinks that Burton was the name. This is the only record I have found of this family. I know at some point, the Burton marriage ended. I am looking for grave/burial information. I also have pictures of Jennie with her daughter Mary Margaret and other women family members (grandmother, great grandmother) are pictured. I'm assuming they are Burtons. If you have any other information, that would be wonderful. If not, thank you for your wonderful research! |

| Which Family Line? | Noland |
| Message | RE: Noland Burials: Pleasent C. Noland(1830-1901) is buried here, as well as a daughter, and Pleasent's Mother, Mary Noland (Died fall of 1853) Mary was the wife of Smallwood V. Noland, of Independence, Jackson Co. MO. Cemetery is gated, so inquire of the house at the foot of the hill as to access. The stones of the Nolands are large, and Mary's dates to ( of course) 1854. Look for a LARGE pine tree near the hedge boundary at the top of the hill, The Nolands rest under that pine. LOCATION CRESWELL ASSOCIATION; Camas Swale Road 1ΒΌ miles west of Creswell, .6 miles south on Howe Lane Cresswell, Oregon. Easy access via I-5 |
