| Message | Thank you for this web site. John Greene is my 10th GGF through the Green line from my father Norman Marshall Green, 1915 to 2004, born in Vancouver, British Columbia. I have been very confused by all the Richard Greene's and thought there was a lot of misinformation out there. After getting 86 hints from Ancestry for John Greene I thought I had better do more investigating. My confusion came from John Greene of Bridgeford Hill thinking that was where he was born in Lincolnshire. However, I discovered he in fact was born in Dorest in BOWRIDGE Hill - so I assume that since he was 'of Bridgeford Hill' he must have been Sir or Lord Greene. | Message | I have a home in Atlanta, GA, but presently live around the area of Destin, FL. I originally came from the an area of Alabama called Jacksonville. There are MANY Shews that live in and around Jacksonville, Birmingham and the Gadsden area. I wonder if we are related? I cannot seem to find a link on your Shew.net page of any Shew who may have migrated to AL. Does anyone else know of one? My great-grandfather would have been, I think, Robert Shew.
