| Message | Saturday 28th April 2018 mallow and Blackpool fire services attended our house fire in mourneabbey,mallow. We would like to thank them for arriving so fast and for all their fantastic work in getting the fire out and securing the roof before they left. They were a friendly bunch of men and so helpful. The emergency line could be a bit better as I gave my eircode and she still didn't get the address correct. I had to give directions from the main road. Those systems should be upgraded ASAP. |

I am a firefighter from South Africa with 20 years experience,i am currently working at a nuclear plant in the emergency services, trained as a intermediate life support medic EMT1, and firefighter, we do all operational calls, and any radio-logical incidents, fires, treat patients involved in chemical burns, general contamination, and radio-active contamination.We proceed to all emergency call-outs, including motor vehicle accidents,vehicles on fire,structural fires and so on. I am also trained in OHS, and have completed my NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, and will start with NEBOSH iNTERNATIONAL Fire and Risk management soon.
