| Message | Will always remember the super service of the Shannon Airport Fire Service in April 1986. My daughter, Deirdre, was overwhelmed by the ambulance on the tarmac meeting her flight from Gatwick. She was sure her mother, a cardiac patient, had become ill or worse. The tears were streaming down her face as a firefighter escorted her to the ambulance. Her expression changed as she realized we were passengers rather than patients. The firefighters brotherhood is truly world wide. Best wishes Thomas Mylod, and former Bellerose Fire Department 45 year member and Chief of Department. |
