MessageI am very sorry to hear of your loss. I was lucky enough to train with Shawn at Xtreme Couture in 2008 and he made a big impact on me, even though I was from the other side of the world he instantly made me feel welcome. He was an amazing trainer but he will be remembered more for being such a great guy.

MessageThe MMA World suffered a loss with the passing of Shawn. His love for the sport was obvious. When Goldberg made the news of shawns passing, I was trying to explain who shawn was to my son, I said let me show you. I remembered shawns exicetement after stouts ko at ufc 131 which i still have on my dvr. From my family to shawns, your in our thoughts and prayers.

MessageThe MMA sphere, and the world in general, is missing one of the most genuinely kind and charismatic personalities ever. It's tragic that Shawn was taken from us at such an early age, and I'm sure many are with me, when I say he will be sorely missed. Thanks for sharing so much of your life with fans, fighters, media and everyone that knew you. There will never be another like you. I hope you are in a place of tranquility and peace, and that your family members and loved ones find their sorrows eased when they see how very loved and respected you were, and always will be.
