Hit a brick wall a few years back and am now slowly getting back into this troublesome line. The surname is BARTSCH for my ancestor Ernst August Bartsch from Jakobsdorf, Nuermarkt, Breslau Slesia/Schlesien. I have a bit more, but does this location jive with your area of research?

Looking for any information on your Maria STOPIENSKI. My gggGrandfather was August STOPINSKI but I don't know where he came from. He first appears in the 1811 Wartenburg, Kr. Allenstein, East Prussia records when their eldest daughter, Marianna, was baptised. All STOPIENSKIs I've found so far in the Wartenburg area are directly related to August.

Do you know where your Maria STOPIENSKI was born?
