| Message | I want to express my sympathies to family and my thanks to Corporal Crescenz. My father was a POW WWII. He spent his last years at the VA Center, I know he would have been honored had in been named for Corporal Crescenz , as would my family. We would like to offer our support in this cause.We lived at 2nd and Cheltenham until 1986 so we were neighbors. G-d bless all our servicemen and women. And thanks to them as well. |

The memories of Hiep Duc Valley rush back and with watering eyes of tear of my experiences. To the family, well done job in acquiring final resting at Arlington for Cpl Crescenz. God Bless |

| Message | I was with the 3rd of the 21st echo recon. my tour was before Michael but the same area. His story is a great story of courage when evrything is going on around you. He put his buddies, friendss, and fellow soldiers ahead of himself.There is no greater courage. My best to all of the family. Bert |

| Message | I was assigned to "A" Company 4-31-196th Light Infantry Brigade in August of 1968. Micheal was assigned to the same squad as me in 3rd platoon. We shared c-rats and talked of are highschool days.We went out on night-time ambushes together, very scary. I was with Mike the morning of Nov. 20th 1968 when we walked into an ambush by the 21st NVA Regiment 2nd NVA Division at sunrise on Nui Chom Mountain. Not one day has passed that I don't think of Mike and my friends who where wounded or killed. From Nov. 1968 to Dec. 1968 I lost 8 friends in my squad either wounded or killed. God spared me and I don't know why. I would like to hear from someone from Mikes family. 402-871-8911. |

| Message | I am a Veteran of 196th Light Infantry Brigade class of 67/68. Olney Boy who went to war, will never forget that the toss of the Dice put me in the presence of Men who conquered fear each in his own way. I was privileged to be one of the (3) Chargers MEDICS who carried Mike to the hearse for the final trip to Arlington on May 8th. "Chargers" when the going gets tough- the tough get going. |

| Message | The courage of Michael Crescenz as he took over the battlefield and put himself in high jeopardy was inspiring. There must be something extra in special people's makeup that rises to the surface and does exactly the right thing even under severe conditions. Some have this skill; most don't. You shall not be forgotten ever, Michael. |
