MessageTUFA, please keep us in your prayers as we travel down the highway to face the North Texas Stampede on this Saturday. We will surely represent for Houston as well as the TUFA. If you're in Dallas tomorrow, stop by due to, its for a good cause and there will be some good football also. Again, from the TXC family, thanks for the warm embrace and support of the league.

MessageUNFORTUNATLEY THEIR IS THE "TO BE DETERMINED" GROUP:

NEW CANEY FIRE: A spin off from the Gladiators. Appear to be doing the right things as a first year team. Logistics may provide recruitment challenge in a saturated market. Will need to provide some size and speed to keep playoff hopes alive.

TEXAS BANDITS; Not much known. Website doesnt provide much info, and again logistics could provide challenge for them.

Well, there you have it. One thing is for sure...its gonna be one hell of a ride this year in the TUFA. I will be keeping an eye out for the schedule and see what type of match ups we can expect to look forward to. Just keep it professional and provide us with some good quality football for everyone. Looking forward to seeing some of these teams play. Be blessed and have a great holiday season!!

MessageSLEEPER TEAMS: Dont underestimate these guys!!

HOUSTON EAGLES: 1ST year group but done well with recruitment. Should have strong defense and have experienced coaching Staff.

KOMODOS: VERY FAST and Swarming defense. They too, have made soem acquisitions that should make them even stronger.

GLADIATORS: 3rd year team. Player retention seems to be good. they got a Gunslinger at QB and have acquired some deep threats.

CLEVELAND OUTLAWS: probably the SCRAPPIEST of em all!! They gonna give you 4qtrs whether they got 40 or 12 players. Great coaches and core group.

HOUSTON RAVENS: 2nd year team. Off season experience provided them with some good recruitment ability. Player retention could be an issue, but these guys believe they can play with anyone!!

CYPRESS GATORS: Reformed group. Good Head Coach and gonna be fast on the edges if they can pull it all together. Should be interesting group to watch.

MessageVery interesting opinions expressed. Some with some obvious biased loyalties for their respective teams. Lets look at what we DO KNOW (not in any order):

POTENTIAL POWERHOUSE TEAMS:

FT BEND STORM: 2 TIME GCFA SUPERBOWL APPEARANCES with a great team structure and quality players.

TEXAS COLTS: CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER in ALL their seasons no matter what league they have played in.

TEXAS EXPRESS: ALWAYS in playoffs. Big, physical, and consistent coaching staff with great QB.

ORANGE TIGERS: Little known, but what I do: Very fast and well coached and bring the wood. They too, have a good QB.

TEXAS BEAST: 2 TUFA Super Bowl appearances. Can go vertical on you with their passing game. Well coached and 4th year of existence.

HARDHITTAZ: Again, 2 TUFA Super Bowl appearances. Good core group of guys. Additions to coaching staff and physical defense makes them a legitimate threat.

WARRIORS: Stingy Defense and Good ground game. Suprised most last year, as it was thier first season.

SPRING HEAT: Coming off their best season last year! Solid core group, changes in Coaching Staff and have acquired the taste for playoff play.
