| Message | Al took myself and Patrice Champeau, David Olsen, and of course his own kids, to Steamboat, where we met up with a very tanned Ingert, who had been out there for a week, cross-country skiing. Al let me drive through Denver, even though I was just 17! We skiied with Billy Kidd and met some U.S. ski team members. We ate alot of limpa bread and honey (Ingert said that I ate most of it). I got the mountain bug from that visit, and ended up moving out to Utah and Colorado and Idaho for several years.I have worked as a waitress in many states all over the U.S., as well as owned my own restaurant successfully for 8 years and have always made friends and had money, thanks to my training at Al's. (Remember the training from Auntie June?) Thanks Al & Ingert! |

| Message | A reunion is a great idea! Can't wait to see so many people I have lost touch with over the years. Lots of great memories from working there, but I still have nightmares from waitressing and forgetting to call in an order or the kitchen not wanting to prepare the food. Will these EVER go away!?!? |

We all have so many memories of working for Al&Ingert, they run a wonderful business and taught us all a work ethic that you cannot learn in school you provided us with skills to be successful in our own lives. | Message | Al liked to show the new girls from Sweden how he could turn any ordinary American dish into a Swedish one simply by adding his "special sauce." My friend Vilhelmina, not accustomed to such humor, fainted during the demonstration but went on to become a good waitress. |
