| Message | I still have waitress nightmares, too, but more about the waitresses than from actually being one. (Only kidding.) Actually, I think I did have to wait tables more than a few times after the waitresses who were supposed to open showed up late, often still in their clothes from the night before. Of course, they might have had to cook a few times, too, when we exchanged the favors. Memories include some good Local 101 Union meetings; "jockularity;" GI nights; pine tarring,; sharing quiet time with Al and Ingert; writing and reading the diaries (still there somewhere?); looking for Rolf when he got lost a few times; sending someone for a bucket of steam (good memory); going to fetch a bucket of steam myself (not so good memory); convincing one of the busboys that Ingert wanted the goats' butts scrubbed with the coffee pot brush, and watching him try to do it; going to Al's Appreciation Night at the Tap, dressed as the roof, etc. Thanks for a great start on life, Al and Ingert. Hope to see you there. |
