Have you ever seen Sky perform live? and Where? At their house in Malibu
MessageWhen I was growing up Sky and the guys lived just below us in Big Rock, Malibu. We would walk down the hill and listen to them practice all the time. Though I could hear them from my house also. Sky invited us inside a few times, think he thought it was pretty hilarious that we as 10 or 11 year olds were into the music so much. I’m sure those guys were stoned out of their gourds most of the time. Sky gave me a joint thatI didnt know what to do with, but I smoked it a few months later. That started my stoner days. He also gave me a stack of Playboy mags that the guys had “perused”. I cherished those for years. He also used to sit and meditate on an empty lot overlooking the ocean just below John Houseman’s house a lot. We knew better than to disturb him during that time. Great memories back then.

MessageHello. Nice site. Came of age in L.A., where The Seeds were one of the really unique bands. The first two records especially, are the heart of the sound. Remember the unique groove of "Evil Hoodoo" and the commercially viable tunes (in addition to those that were hits). Was interesting to see one of their tunes clock in at 14:26, around the same time as "Goin' Home" and "Revelation" (wonder which was first).

MessageI lived with Sky back in 1987 in Hollywood. Met his wife and son at the time when they came from Hawaii to pick him up. I was playing bass at the time, and Sky was recruiting me for a musical revolution. Good guy.

MessageWell it has been a very long strange trip; and wonderful to be part of something unexplainable. Guess it's a bit late to speak but "Silence is Golden" (remember him). Sometimes we brush against something so powerful we are overwhelmed. Technology has certainly created a place where we can join hands again and be in the moment, surrounded by rainbows, and creating the love that we always intended to create. When words get in the way, actions aggravate, protective mechanisms kick in and then the aftermath is what we deal with. Here but for the grace go I. After 30 years of solitude, there remains the heartfelt joy that Arlech, Wings, Llamad and their beautiful children bestowed upon me; the hope is eternal. I thank you for your compassion and the time you welcomed me in your home, the belief that children are a blessing and come through us not for us (though that may have been those Tennessee midwives). Forgive me, know I am out here, I love you, I loved him, it was and is a beautiful world and all of our lives are touchstones for the good. Isn't it great to be able to hear and see this phenomenal work of art in action, the creator is GOOD GREAT GRAND beyond explanation. Sunlight reaches through my window, stained glass stars and prisms, the dogs are resting, and a little song is playing in my head. "Saying every word with love.." prophetic really. By the way, who got the molybdenum? Visiting Maui it looks like he was right once again, the corner bank...in Lahaina.
