MessageHello to everyone in Easton On the Hill, my wife (Ruth) and I lived in 43 Church Street for 1 year between June 2005 and June 2006. It was the most wonderful place to live and we were made to feel very welcome. I hope everyone is well and am glad to see the village is still going strong. We moved out on the day of the 2006 WC final so the current tournament brings back many memories of great times in The Blue Bell. We now live in Uppingham but think of you all a lot.

MessageHello Easton on the Hill. My name is Roxanne Dalton, I am the Grand daughter of a previous rector at the Church and he lies to rest there too. His name was Reverand Reginald John Smith and he painted the scroll of honour which hung or is still hanging in the porchway of the Church. Other paintings of his were also hung in the Church. But that was around 1989, so I wonder if they are still in good order. I would be interested to know. My father, Anthony James Dalton features on the scroll too and my mother and father were married at Easton. I have photo's of the scroll of honour and I love the way my grandfather was able to capture images of the village and paint them into an area the size of a postage stamp. I am able to pass on a short history of my Grandfathers life in Australia if you would like. He was also an engraver which explains his attention to detail in the drawings. At the moment I am unable to access my email, however should someone like to email back, I will reply as soon as possible, Thank you for your lovely website which gives me an opportunity to say hello and would love to know how the paintings are smilie Kind regards from Rox in Western Australia smilie smilie
