MessageHi Kathy,
I remember the first class we took together at Asilomar-Carol
Fallert's class. You were such fun and I've enjoyed your books ever since. Many of the "famous" quilters who have come to speak at the two guilds that I belong to have given you credit for quilting their beautiful quilts.
My best to you and your family.
Sincerely,
Pat Masterson :

MessageI am sure there will be something good to come out of this. Just keep your hand in Gods hand and he will make a way for you.
I am a quilter and enjoy the work of all quilters. We can identify with each other and share one great legacy together.
God Bless and keep you.
peace and happiness

MessageTo Kathy's children -

Hi, I just read about your mom through a Santa Rosa, CA, quilt quild posting. I can't believe it was just six years ago that I took a machine quilting class from your vibrant and vital mom. She's an amazing lady who was a terrific inspiration to me. I've quoted her philosophy and techniques many, many times when talking about machine quilting with friends.

My heart goes out to you as go through this difficult time. Because of our ongoing experiment caring for three elderly family members, my husband and I frequently debate which is best to lose first, mind or body. The debate continues. Like child rearing, there's no guidebook.

I wish you peace of mind with your decisions and comfort to your mom, in whatever form comfort takes.
