MessageDear Andy:

When I arrived back in town last week, I was saddedned by the news of your cancer. Please know that you have been and will continue to be in my prayers.

I was heartened by your recent e-mail that all your lymph gland tests were negative. That's good news indeed. I pray that your immunization treatment will go equally as well.

I miss your smiling face around the tennis courts, and the contribution you make to tennis in SS.

Again, you are in my prayers.

MessageHi Andy,

Fantastic news about the lymphnodes!
That's one down and you can breathe a huge
sigh of relief, as everyone else does along with
you. I am thinking of you and praying
as you recover from surgery - I know it's
hard.

Hang tough!

Great News!!! "Stay the Course"! I just never knew you were so popular? Coastal B.B. still struggling and rumor has it that U of Cinncy is coming here next year to "The Box". Martha and I discuss you often and know that we pray for your full recovery.

MessageHi Andy,

You have made it through a really big bump in the road, Andy. It is not easy to do what you are doing and many would not be able to do it, or at least do it with as much faith and strength. When I was down and out my Mom(Grandma T) used to tell me "remeber who you are" and I did not really know what she meant but I think it is this: Remember who you are..Andy Taggart Caress. Remember that you are loved by many and special and you have a very wonderful purpose and future ahead of you in your life. It is trials which define us, Andy. What will you turn to in times of distress? Do you turn inward and angry and sorrowful? Do you turn to drugs and alcohol? (okay..pain meds not included in thissmilie Do you turn to family and friend and faith? You have not given in to the easy way..and with the next step of immunotheapy you will meet it with the same spirit and convictions and importantly with the same love behind and all around you. We all are so thankful for the clear lymph nodes..what a miracle in itself! Kind of like my catching the pass in the end zone in the turkey bowlsmilie (Okay, no comparison but hope it made you smile)
love , the "still coolest Aunt" until Mary can figure out a way to top the trolley dance.
Love ya, Aunt Patty
