MessageAndy, I saw your dad yesterday and I am thrilled to hear you are in Colorado. That thin air will do you some good! Nothing like giant mountains to put life into perspective. Snowboarding or skiing? I would put my money on a boarder but I have been wrong before.....be sure to wear a helmet!

MessageHey Andy,
This is your Mom's friend Diane, hitting the keyboard again. Even though I haven't dropped you a line in a while, I have been banging on the doors of heaven asking for you to cut a break. It sounds like you are on the attack and I don't doubt that your strength, perserverence and focus are helping to work healing in your body. But I still want to say that I am so sorry that you are going through this. It's horribly unfair. I look forward, with you, to the day when you can look BACK on this season of life and see some perspective. Until then, start your mornings with a prayer for strength, get plenty of rest, try to find something to laugh about, and end your day with thanks. You are not in this alone.
Blessings,
Diane MacLachlan

MessageAndy,

Hello! I hope you are feeling a little better. Jenny is keeping us all updated on your progress. I am so happy you got to go back to CO to see all your friends. I am sure you are so happy to see them.

I think about you everyday and want you to know a lot of my friends have put you on their prayer list. They ask about you often.

Take care and hope you have a great time with your friends. We are going to miss you at Stacey's shower! We love you Andy!

XOXO,

Mary

MessageHi Andy,

Have been reading your blog since you first went home and have bene thinking of you fighting this cancer ever since you first heard. Your information is excellent and your decision to go ahead with the treatment in Texas a good one. Didn't Lance Armstrong get treated in Texas as well? I am hoping that everything will go really well for you during this tough treatment. Even if it lasts for 5 months or more I am sure you can deal with it if it knocks the melanoma out. My thoughts are of seeing you in your red tennis shoes out on the courts again. ( Any courts )
