Please pray fervently for FLO, our trooper who still acted like a puppy at twelve years old after undergoing amputation of her right limb because of Osteosarcoma. Despite clear xrays and two sessions of chemo, it has metastasized to the lungs after only a couple of months since surgery. Her breathing is becoming quicker now between 30 and 42 cycles per minute.
Her struggle and the strength she has shown to beat cancer all the while still loving me has caused me to realize there is an aspect in my life I must change. No human has been able to touch as has Flo Girl in these dark days.
She does not deserve to die by the hands of cancer.
She goes tomorrow for an evaluation for further chemo. She is on immune building and chemo enhancing supplements. She is a strong dog, and today was a good day. But is she strong enough to endure a different chemo. Pray for the miraculous and again, please pray fervently for FLO GIRL
Thank you so much
Danny

Hes like my best friend and has been there for me thru thick n thin, hes my biggest admirer and faithful companion. He has protected me loyally for 9 years. Followed me everywhere when I was carrying my children and never has left my side. I ask that you pray that he is not in pain, as I am giving him some pain meds to see how he reacts and if and when the time God calls him up to be with him. THank you.

Hello :-)
Our beloved goofy Marvin broke his leg and it turns out because of a nasty bone tumour. His leg will be amputated tomorrow and also we will know if has spread. We hope and pray we can keep him with us much longer against the grim prognosis the vet gave us. He is a rescue dog and had such a bad start. He is so gentle and loving and in so much pain right now which he doesn't deserve. Please pray for no more pain and this might sound strange....that he can pooh....he just doesn't know how to with his hind leg so painful and bandaged. And he has a painful tummy ache. Please please help our Marvin. Thank you so much xxxxx

Nina was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer November 11, 2008. Nina belongs to my sister Amanda and is basically Amanda's baby girl because she has no kids of her own. Nina really is just like a little kid, she has such a great personality and she is so loving. I have been praying for Nina because I love her and I want her to be with my sister for a lot longer. I would like to ask that if you are reading this message, please keep Ms. Nina in your prayers also.
Thank you, Stefanie

Message
Last night we had to put our precious litle boy, Shanny, to sleep. Two weeks ago he was acting completely normal. Started with a little cough, and since we had a dog die of lung cancer in 1999 which started with a cough, I became very suspicious. On 11/3/08, he had a chest x-ray which showed probable lung cancer, maybe an infection. Each day became worse. From 11/3 to 11/12 he went downhill so fast. We had another x-ray done on 11/10 and the cancer had spread so much in one short week. Even yesterday, before we took him to the emergency clinic at 12:30 am, he still wagged his tail to get in the car. His breathing became so bad that at midnight I told my husband if we keep him alive another minute, it is not for him but us. It's not fair and we feel cheated that we only had him 9 years. He is our daughter's dog who is away at college, 1200 hundred miles from home. At first we weren't going to tell her, but decided that wasn't right and she would never trust us again. It was the right decision. She is coming home for Thanksgiving in one week and is dreading walking in the house. Please pray for my husband, myself, and daughter to get through this painful time. My heart is broken. I can't believe we have had two dogs die from lung cancer. Terrible disease.

Message
Flo's osteosarcoma has metastasized into the lungs. We're going to try Doxorubicin since Carboplatin has not been effective. Will also be on K9. However, at this point I'm really relying on the intervention of God given the prognosis. So pray for Flo in one accord and that I will make the correct decisions on therapies.

Our beloved Jenny (9 years old) was diagnosed with Lymphoma today. I am in shock. I took her to the doctor because she was not herself, plus a few other problems...old age I thought. I was floored when her doctor called and told me she has Lymphoma. From what I have read, this is an aggressive cancer. My other Lab, Cloe, died of cancer 6 years ago. I am so sad. Jenny is such an awesome dog! I will keep you all in our prayers...GOD BLESS our beloved pets!
