Type of CancerLymphoma
MessagePlease pray that God will be merciful to our girl. After lengthly discussion with her doctor we have been advised that chemotherapy, although an option, is not a good option for Lana. We are doing our best to make her comfortable until the time comes that she lets us know that we must do the merciful thing. We love her very much and are devastated at her impending loss, but know, God does everything for a reason. We consider ourselves blessed to have had her in our lives for over 6 years and look forward to seeing her again at our lifes end. Our prayer is that God will take her in her sleep while she is peaceful, allowing us not to have to end her life. I pray that someone will find a cure for this terrible disease, for both humans and animals.

Type of Cancerhemagiosarcoma
MessageOn Tuesday, Angel, our beloved 12 yr old English bulldog had a perfectly good day up until the afternoon. My wife and six yr old daughter had gone to her mom's (grandma's) house to visit after school. By the time I got home from work and let her outside, Angel suffered a complete collapse. Her limbs were no longer able to support any of her weight and I had to carry her inside.

We soon found out that she has a large mass on her spleen and spots on her liver. Most end up being hemangiosarcoma, which is malignant and extremely aggressive. Often there are no symptoms at all until something like this occurs. Surgery is very expensive with a poor pronosis.

Now we are facing a decision that none of us are ready to make. With her unable to walk or stand she can't go outside to 'do her business' but can only lay there. She has been eating and drinking still but today that is tapering off. I think Monday is an optimistic goal and the one we are setting in our mind.

Angel has been with us since our first days of marriage. She was truly our "first child" and is our baby. To the grandparents dismay, I have jokingly referred to her as 'big sis' since our daughter came along. We love her so.

Please pray that God might intercede and grant our prayers that she simply have a long night's sleep that never ends. If not, give us the strength to do what's right for her. I pray for all of you who may be suffering like we are in your time of illness and loss. May God give us peace.

Type of Cancerlymphoma
MessageHello,

Our yellow lab Frazier(oldest son and most times my best behaved out of three two legged sons, has just been diagnosed with lymphoma and I think we are just in denial and not wanting to deal with this reality. Have no money for treatment so we will just have to make him as comfortable as possible

Please pray for my sons as well who will be devasted when the end comes. Thank you for this site. No one truly understands the pain of losing a beloved pet unless you go through it and have a dog that is literally a part of your family.
God bless and heal all of you as well.
