Please pray for my 7 year old pug Pugsley. We found out yesterday he has a tumor in his left bottom lung lobe. The vet gave him 3-6 months to live.

He has such a fighting spirit and I am going to try Holostic diet and herbs to maybe put it in remission or get rid of it (they say their is no cure) but we are not giving up as long as we see he is fighting.. He has been my therapy dog now it is my turn to be his therapy...thank you... he is and Angel and has by his very nature helped many others

My emotinal support doggie lilly, a wonderful french bull doggie, who is also my therapy dog at work, as she works with some of my patients, is dying from brain cancer. She is 6 yrs old and the most loving calm, sweet girl. She has gotten me through the death of both of my parents, my kids leaving home, and my husband leaving. I have never been so close and connected to any animal and I have had a lot of animals to whom I loved dearly. I pray for discernment and to know what to do for her. She has been given 3 months or less to live about one month ago.

Type of Cancer
Osteosarcoma in Rt Femur
Message
I just found out last week that Jackson my beloved 10yr old rescue dog that I got at 4months old has been diagnosed via x-ray with Osteosarcoma in his Rt leg femur. His back rt. leg had been shaking after exercise a couple of months ago and figured it was arthritis, but after cont. lameness we started anti-inflammatory meds in mid August and finally went for an x-ray last week. It was discovered that his femur head and neck bone is literally disappearing. Luckily he doesn't seem to have any other cancer areas in his body and his blood work is great. Since the lameness started about a week ago he seems to be adapting well holding his leg up and hopping on 3 legs. They are recommending amputation of the rt. leg to take away the pain and reduce the possibility of breaking the leg and the cancer spreading. I am torn as to what to do I know he could survive the amputation and be mobile on 3 legs (he's showing me now he can do it), but I wonder what his quality of life will be after and if he has to have chemo, which they are recommending as part of treatment. How much longer will it give him to live? Am I being selfish by keeping him alive? I want to be ok with knowing that I did everything I could to help him survive! If anyone has dealt with or is dealing with this now please let me know as I need all the support we can get. Please keep the love and prayers coming as I know miracles are possible!
