Tucker is 9 1/2 yrs old and was diagnosed with osteosarcoma on April 13. He has been part of our family forever and we have known him since he was 11 days old. He has had a good life and has enriched ours so much. We don't want to lose him. The vet gave him a month to live. I plan on him being around and not suffering for much longer than that. Our friends and family have been sending prayers and healing thoughts. We have been giving him the prednisone prescribed by the vet and I have completely changed his diet, giving him fats, proteins and veggies and elliminating all grains and added sugars. We also give him essiac tea twice daily to boost his immune system. So far he has only required pain medication on 2 or 3 occassions, no longer cries and the tumor size has gotten smaller. I pray there is no metastises to his lungs. At present he continues to take his 3 x daily walks, his appetite is amazing and he has had no weight loss since being diagnosed. Although his prognosis is poor, I hold great hope in the power of prayer to help put his cancer in remission!

Please say a prayer for our girl. We are going to have to put her to sleep tomorrow. We just want her to be comfortable until then. She's had a short but good fight, but has gotten an infection that has overwhelmed her. She's had a very good life, and it's her time to go to the rainbow bridge. Thank you very much.

Please remember Hanna in your prayers. She is a loving wonderful 10yr old Golden Retreiver that was diagnosed with Lymphoma. It will be a long journey ahead, for both Hanna and us as well. She is currently taking chemo and is handling it pretty well. Lets all prayer for a cure so no more animals or humans have to become sick or even die from this awful disease. God bless Hanna and all the wonderful animals.

Up until a week ago he was playing fetch, begging for his breakfast biscuit and jumping up on the couch. Now he doesn't want to eat and he always wanted his cheese. This is our 3rd Bichon but only our first with cancer. This is going to the toughest and were not ready to be empty nesters. Please pray for Cujo our baby and we will do the same for your family member. God Bless all of us

Our 15 y.o. sweetheart Toby is deteriorating as a result of complications from unconfirmed brain cancer. He is so stoic and remains the calm lover boy he has always been despite the vestibular symptoms. Although he is eating and can get around, except stairs, he is also succumbing to renal and hepatic end-stage disease. We will be letting him go soon and hope that you will keep him in your prayers as he passes over the rainbow bridge to heaven. He will join there our other shelties Melle, Tippy and Pepper. In my vision of doggy heaven they will all be having a grand time running fast, playing tag and tug o'war with their favorite toys, consuming all the cookies they want, and when they are "pooped" from working out, resting comfortably on their favorite sofa snuggled up with someone who loves them as dearly as we do. We pray for you and your beloved pet. Thank you for praying for Toby. j

I recently lost my sweet Ruger to Lymphoma and I have some advice for those who have recently been told that their dog has cancer. If your dog is still young or middle-aged, and you’ve been told the treatment has a decent chance of completely curing your dog, then I would do it. But, unfortunately, many canine cancers can only be put into remission and not cured. If that is the likely outcome for your situation, I don’t recommend the chemo. Instead, I would give your dog the best possible life for as long as he/she seems healthy. Then let them go once the cancer starts to take its toll. There is nothing worse than watching a dog suffer. And you will not be able to begin to heal either, until the dog has passed. After you dog crosses the rainbow bridge, go out and get a new one. If you Google the pet shelters in your area, you will find an abundance of sweet sweet dogs that need a home. You will find beautiful young healthy dogs that are on death row. Take one of these dogs home and give it the best life ever!

our 6 year old bichon snowy was diagnosed with lymphoma a couple a days ago and it has already spread. my family and i are very confused and depressed. she was our first pet and because we loved her so much we resuced three other animals. we always tell snowy that she saved their lives. snowy has helped my mother through some really tough times these past two years when my mom cried at night snowy would be right there licking the tears and licking her hand. we feel it was her way of saying "we'll get through this mom. it will be o.kay" snowy is a huge part of our lives i cant imagne her not being here. its going to be hard but at the end of the day we want snowy to be happy. my family could use prayers especially my mother sally. thank you again. this means alot to us.
