Please, please, please continue to pray for Dusty and pray for a cure for all the dogs on this site and for the other sick dogs who are not on this site. Dusty's cancer count has exploded from 30,000 last week to 190,000 this week, despite chemo treatments. She is only 3 years old and was rescued from a very bad situation. She deserves to live a long, healthy and happy life.(As all dogs do). “Blessed are you, Lord God, maker of all living creatures. You called forth fish in the sea, birds in the air and animals on the land. You inspired St. Francis to call all of them his brothers and sisters. We ask you to bless Dusty and all the dogs who are ill. By the power of your love, enable Dusty & all dogs to live according to your plan. May we always praise you for all your beauty in creation. Blessed are you, Lord our God, in all your creatures! Amen.” Please continue to pray and believe in miracles.

Please prayers for Sophie and me. I am saying prayers for all on the list. Monday night I felt lumps on Sophie as I was rubbing her belly. Called the vet Tuesday and saw him Wednesday. He aspirated the lymph in her neck and looked at it and said it was cancer. He took a few more sample to be sent off to the lab. It came back Friday that the cancer is in both her large and small cells. Diagnoses 4-6 weeks with no treatment. I said no to chemo, I wouldn't put myself through it with that type of cancer. Doing my own thing flax seed oil/cottage cheese, echinacea/golden-seal, coq 10, and turmeric. Prayers, healing stones. Thank you for reading my trauma. I will pray for you also. Lovingly Sophie's Grandma

Gretan is our gentle girl. She was resuced from a shelter about 5 years ago. We fostered her and kept her as part of our family. Her original name was Ghetto and that quickly changed to Greta. We could tell that up until her rescue she had a hard life - maybe several litters of pups and kept outdoors. She came into out lives and settled in comfortably with out other GSP. They became hunting buddies and truly enjoyed finding the pheasants and quail together - then settling down at night with us. Greta needed no training in the field. She IS a natural - her official name is "Greta is all about Birds". Early August she began limping and subsequently did not put much weight on her back right leg. During Hurricane Irene she became very lethargic and began to shiver sporadically. An emergency visit to the vet during the worst of the Hurricane revealed possible hip displyasia and she was sent home with clavamox. Two days later she saw our regular vet and she was sent home with more medicine for her sore leg. We started acupuncture but a week and a half later she was no better. Septmeber 19th back to the vet and a sonogram revealed a dark mass on her spleen. Two days later we go the the Surgery Center and she was scheduled for a spleenectomy Friday Sept 23. She is home now but the test on her spleen came back negative. She starts her chemo Oct 5th. She is such a trooper. We hope her treatments go well and we can have just a little more time to enjoy her gentle nature

We adopted Annie 5yrs ago from the Humane Society. She was 4-5yrs old and had a "ruff" life. She was a high-risk adoption case so they sent people to check our home to make sure we had a safe place for her. She has been such a blessing in our lives! She is the most loving and gentle girl! Not one person we know has ever met her without complimenting us on what a great dog she is. She was diagnosed almost two weeks ago with Cancer. She has been doing so good until the past couple days. She is really slowing down now, and losing interest in her food, even when we put all the yummy, good stuff she loves in there. I know her time is coming...and I pray that she is able to go peacefully. It is breaking my heart to see her getting so tired. All positive thoughts and prayers are appreciated for our little Angel-Face!

Our 7 year old puppy "Bailey" is a sweet loving boy. A blonde 92 lb ball of love wrapped in fluff - I've always said he's an angel in a fur coat. He was limping early Aug. & diagnosed with osteosarcoma in his front leg. Due to his size & large head, we were advised not to amputate as he wld have complications with the new walking motion afterward. The cancer hasn't spread to his lungs, but to his vertebrae. The vets radiated the leg tumor for palliative care & sent us home to give him tramadol & Rimadyl & lots of TLC. He's not limping much now but has slowed down (except when he wants to rough house with his big brother). His appetite is still good & he's enjoying his life & all the love he's getting. Tonight he just had a horrible seizure which means I guess that it's now in his brain. Both our dogs are on a cancer fighting diet. I'm praying for a miracle - a couple more years, & trying to keep strong for him & his brother & for our two heartbroken little girls. I spend every possible minute of the day & night with him & now I'm terrified to leave at all, incase he has another seizure. This is like a terrible nightmare that I can't wake from! My heart actually aches & I try to hold the tears because I know he picks up on my mental state. It helps reading about your experiences & I pray for all those suffering & missing their babies. Please add Bailey to your prayers - I hope someone out there has some influence with the Big Guy! Thank you.

Lilly was diagnosed about four weeks ago with surgery or chemotherapy not recommended. Her life expectancy is months, and I am already grieving because I can see the tumors growing weekly. She does not seem to be in pain, however. She was rescued about six years ago when we estimated she was approximately three years old. We have returned all the love she has given to us and feel nothing but blessed to have shared our home with her for this time.

I rescued Charlie 10 years ago and last week the vet told me he has two months left. I am in shock, but sweet Charlie is still wagging his tail and is still so full of love. Please pray for him and all the sweet dogs on here!
