Type of CancerAxial Osteosarcoma
MessageOur 12 year old yellow lab - Honey - was just diagnosed today. The vet didn't give her much hope; <2 months. We are devasted.

As her tumor is located in the upper jaw bone, eating is currently our greatest concern. She has lost 6 pounds in the past several weeks. We'd appreciate all prayers as well as any tips.

Type of CancerHemangiosarcoma
MessageAbby dog was recently diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma a few days ago. An ultrasound determined that her tumor is bleeding into her abdomen. Abby has lived a wonderful doggy life full of running with her Mom, camping, 4-wheeling, and lots of love and cuddles. She's 11 (almost 12) and we'd appreciate any prayers you can offer. We hope to keep her comfortable and pain free while she's dealing with this. Thank you.

Type of Cancerhemangiosarcoma
MessageOur sweet, funny yet fiercely protective GSD has been diagnosed with Stage II hemangiosarcoma in May of 2011. One afternoon she just fell on the floor and would not get up. No crying or anything, she just refused to move. Then she would not eat. We took her to the vet who zeroed in on the abdominal area immediately and did a needle aspiration. To make a long story short we were sent to an emergency animal hospital for further testing. They determined that most likely her spleen had ruptured and surgery was required to save her life. The most likely cause was hemangiosarcoma. We received the confirmation of the cancer diagnosis on Friday the 13th of May. After 5 rounds of chemo, and a shot at Palladia, we have reached the end of her treatment options. For now, she is feeling great. She is playing, running, eating, and generally acting like her old self. We have continued her treatment holistically, with herbal supplements and a change of diet. She is not out of the woods, by any means, and needs continued prayers! Prayers for all who are suffering with this awful disease.

BreedAiredale Terrier
Type of Cancerlung
MessageBel is a 12 1/2 yr old Airedale and is the
beloved companion of Nata, a cyberfriend. He's been raw fed-prey model since Oct 2009 and his bloodwork and everything else has been excellent! Then suddenly he started feeling poorly recently so was taken by his owner to the vet yesterday where x-rays revealed his lungs to be full of tumours:-( Understandably Bel's owner (and we her cyberfriends) are literally stunned and deeply distressed for them both:-( Your thoughts and prayers on their behalf are gratefully welcomed!

BreedBoston Terrier

Type of CancerUnknown
MessagePlease pray for our Boston Terrier Buster Blues, 9 years old. We cannot afford to have the MRI done for him but the Vet feels certain he has a brain tumor. He acts very disoreiented, presses his head against the wall, staggers, etc. We are having to hand feed him as he cannot judge where the food is. His motor skills are completely messed up. He has had a few seizures. We are trying to keep him happy and give him all the snacks and love we can give. We rescued Buster 4 years ago. It breaks my heart to see him so not himself. Writing this brings me sadness but even more sadness knowing that others are experiencing the same thing. Our dogs are kids with fur. We love them unconditionally. May God Bless them all and our little man Buster.
