I just found out my 12 year old Basset hound Presley has cancer. He was rescued from a puppy mill, and a day has not gone by that he hasn't made me smile or laugh. I am not ready to lose my best friend. Please pray that chemo won't make him too sick and will let him live a good life until the end.

We adopted Charlie from a rescue in October 2012. They think he is around 6 or 7 years old. He was going to be euthanized by a NC humane society because his intestines were twisted, but he was rescued and the vet performed surgery on him, he almost didn't make it through. He battled heart worm and he over came that. Several days before Christmas I noticed he wasn't feeling well. The vet diagnosed him with lung cancer. It has spread quite a bit and they only gave him less than 6 months. Charlie has touched so many hearts in our family and he is truly going to be missed. Please pray for him.

My girl Ayanna has been such a loving part of our family for nearly 10 years. 3 months ago she was diagnosed with bone cancer in her shoulder. With the financial help of many great people, we were able to have her front leg amputated. Its been 3 months and since chemotherapy is not affordable as I have been out of work, we left it up to God to see her through. She has had a pain-free 3 months and has been running around like a puppy. We thought she beat this horrible disease. Now its 1:00am and I am watching her waste away. She doesn't want to eat much, has lost weight and is breathing rapidly. I am so sad. She is my best friend and I need some prayers please.

My 11 year old yellow labrador, Dina, has been recently diagnosed with bone cancer in her right wrist. We are not sure about amputation since she is a senior dog and has trouble with her hips and spine. I believe in her vet, but also believe that there is a stronger power in the universe that can help me solve this situation in the best possible way. I am sharing my experience because it is too difficult to do it on my own and I think prayer can help us in this difficult moments. Thanks for all the love that you can send throuhg your praying. It surely will make us feel better.

After my post on 12-22-13, & thinking I was going to release Alaska to heaven to be with her sister Montana on the 12-23-13, another MIRACLE happened. Right after that post, a friend came over to say good-bye to Alaska, & she took a big turn around for the better. She began demonstrating familiar behaviors & for the next 6 days was doing very well. On 12-30-13 she began to decline, & on 1-1-14 she told me to "let me go" when I asked her how she was feeling. Within 5 hours she declined rapidly & we had to take her to emergency, where she had another serious seizure & we had to make the hard decision within 30min. of the occurrence. So at 10:40pm she took her last breath in my arms with Steve & Tahiti by her side. When the vet brought her in to say goodbye, I told her it was time for her to go & to give mommy & daddy a kiss goodbye which she gracefully did. The beauty of the story is she came back from the 1st seizure on the 19th becuz she knew her time with us wasn't quite complete & we all needed a proper time to say goodbye. So for that 12 days, we were able to tell her everyday how much we loved her, how grateful we were she picked us, & how grateful we were for the 7 year journey with her. She was my enlightened one to know she had to complete the job to make us all happy. She was so brave to hold on for those 12 days & is happy now in Heaven with her sister Montana & all our other Angels, 2 or 4 legged that have gone before us. We pray for all who love their animals.
