Message	This is an excellent program. I accompanied my father as a guardian on a flight out of Kansas City in Oct 08. This was sponsored by the Central Prarie hub, located in Great Bend,Kansas.This was their third trip already and it was quick but the experience was awesome. We had to ride a chartered bus for three hours to get to and from KC so that allowed more time for meeting and greeting and war stories. I learned a lot about the war that I did not know and about my dad also. Wow, I have such a new appreciation for what these men went through. The memorial is something to see. The highlight for my dad was shaking hands with Bob Dole, who is from our neck of the woods--western Kansas. My father was fully mobile on his own so that allowed me to help out and support other guys and the tour leaders.The oldest guy on our trip was 92. As a plus for me,I was able to pay my respects to the Vietnam Wall. This was truly a rewarding experience for me and I have some great pictures and memories to cherish.

Message	My father is a WWII Vet who served in the South Pacific and he would love to go see the memorial in D.C. He has been relating more of what happen there in the last few years. He is 84. My father's name is John B. Pendergrass and I believe he served from 1942 - 1945.

Message	I live in the Washington DC area and volunteer to greet veterans as they deplane at Reagan National Airport. Participating in Honor Flight is the closest I will ever come to giving the veterans the thanks they deserve for their service. I am overjoyed to find that there is an Honor Flight hub in California as well. Thank you to those who make this program possible, and my sincerest gratitude to all those who have served. Again, thank you.

Message	I caught some information about Honor Flight on a news clip. Thank you, and those like you... who honor the men and women of our armed services that gave so much, and continue to give. Silently they ware the infirmities received for our freedom! Most are willing to talk to us (even when the memories are painful), if we will take the time to listen. Their example serves a "high bar" they hope no one has to jump over, but they'd be willing to do it again for you and I. God Bless you, our Vets, and God Bless the USA.

Message	I am the daughter of a Marine Corp. WWII (flight instructor) who passed away several years ago. He never got to see the D. C. Memorial. My uncle who is now 84 (Army--Pacific) might like to go and I'm doing what I can to make that happen for him.
