We would like to send you a note, to let you know, you are often in our prayers. What a tremendous influence you had on the life of our family, when we moved to Utah in 1979. Andy has such fond memories, as he served with you on the Bishoric in the 28th Ward. May Heavenly Father bless, and give strength to you and your family.

We love you, and hope for the Best.

MessageHi Grandpa -
Gina said that you wanted me to write the story for you. So here it is, as best as I can remember it.

A woman was undergoing chemo treatments and woke up one morning with only 3 hairs left on her head. She looked in the mirror and said to herself "Today, I think I'll braid my hair." And she did.
The next morning she woke up and looked in the mirror and she only had 2 hairs. So she said, "Today I'll wear my hair in pig tails". And she did.
The next morning she woke up and looked in the mirror and she only had 1 hair left on her head and she said, "Today I think I'll part my hair on the side." And she did.
The next morning she woke up and looked in the mirror but had no hair left on her head. She said to herself, "Oh good! I was so tired of doing my hair everyday!"

Stay positive, Grandpa, you're good at it!
We love you.
Dani

MessageHello Grandma and Grandpa!
Just a funny story I thought I would share...
A few weeks ago we (Carly, Angie and Ella) were at the mall in our huge double stroller, which I can't see Carly when pushing. We walked around in Baby Gap for a few minutes and didn't buy anything, well we left the store and all of a sudden I look down to check on Carly and she had a shirt in her hands. I felt really stupid but went back into the store and gave the shirt back to the clerk. I guess I have a little shop lifter, the clerk just laughed and so did I. Ella is doing well, she is two months now and just started smiling at us. She loves her bassinett and the mobile that hangs down. We are blessing Ella on May 4 in American Fork.
Wish we could visit so you could meet Ella but maybe in the future when your feeling better. And I too loved taffy parades!

MessageGrandpa, you really need a computer so you can see your blog! They have really done a great job with it! (I don't know who is updating it, but what a great service to all of us, THANK YOU) What a great picture of you on it also.
We had the Young Women meet at our house Wed. night & the Pioneer Trek came up. Olivia was so excited, she ran upstairs to grab Grandma's dress to show everybody what she will be wearing. Thank you so much for offering it. Wes and I are plugging through that big book you lent to us. We are slow at reading, but it is a good one for our situation.
Grandpa, you are in our prayers daily. I think of you all the time. I'm so glad to hear that you made it through the first round of chemo with little side effects. The biggest side effect (we hope) will only be hair loss. Weston actually prefers no hair. You may want to keep the look. Keep your spirits up we are happy to see you fignting this.
I love you.

MessageGrandpa,

I just wanted to take a minute to drop you a line and update you on our family. Colin has been walking for a couple weeks now. He's our little show-off. He walks around the room and stops to see if everyone was watching him and he claps. He makes a few discernable noises, I wouldn't exactly call it talking, but it's close. All little dogs are tetties (our little dog is Tessie), Mom, Dad and Grandparents are daddas. He is so great to be around, he is definitely a blessing to us. I could never have imagined feeling the way I do about him and about my family. I definitely know how our Heavenly Father feels about us.

We recently heard back from a home builder, Alpine Homes, about building a new home. We are looking into building a two-story home. We made some "improvements" to their floor plan that would better suit us. It looks like they are going to take care of us. We now wish they would just hurry up.

One thing that I would like to write about is just a couple of the things that I will never forget. I will always remember you singing the song Billy Boy, and how you would sing it, with a diferent voice for each character. Candy parades with salt water taffy, swinging Angie and Sonya, similies on how mud is like Satan, and spending time with you on the farm.

We love you very much and thoughts are always with you. We hope to see you soon.

Love

Ryan, Erin, and Colin.
