MessageAndy has certanly stirred up a hornets nest with his comments and done the Club no favours and to think I am always getting told not to say thing! What started as a season of so much is starting to go down hill fast playing and non playing. We need to go foward as a club get the team playing again and get on with things of the field as well. It will be a big blow if we do lose Stuart as well.

MessageWhen you consider how the club were screwed over back in 1984 by the council over the Memorial Sports Ground, can we trust them not to sell it off for development some time in the future and leave us homeless again?

Surrey SoccerWhat do supporters think
MessageThe Reds are in negotiations to sell our ground to Reigate & Banstead Borough Council. The club would then lease the land back and use the money generated to build an all weather pitch which would be available for the public to hire. The cash would also be used to improve the club's first team, and develop the ground's facilities, up to a level suitable for Ryman League premier division football. Our president John Park insisted there was no chance of the club leaving their home, and this was one of a number of ways being considered to improve facilities.
"We are exploring a number of avenues with the council on the best way to free us up to do what we want to do," he added.A spokeswoman for the council confirmed they were looking to purchase Kiln Brow.
She said: "We are in the early stages of negotiations to seek ways to address longstanding land issues that will allow Redhill Football Club to raise the revenues necessary to improve their facilities."We are looking forward to working together to progress senior football in the borough."
Park added: "The potential for developing and enlarging our occupation of the site is there and the council are determined for us to be able to develop."The deal, which is still in the early stages and a long way from completion, would fetch the Lobsters in excess of £750,000 for the ground
