MessageHi Spencer,Peter and family, Hope you remember me, I held several roles with the Club in the early 90's ending up as Chairman for a couple of Season's. Good times for the Club then as we managed to secure the ground for the Club's future and gained promotion under Peter Burdett. I loved my time at the Club and was sorry to leave due to moving away with my job. Now living back in my home town Reading and enjoying Premier League football. My son Rob who was always with me down at Kiln Brow turned into a very decent player and was with Brentford for a couple of years and Woking for a while. Who knows he may wear a Redhill shirt one day.I have some great memories of Redhill and met some great people like yourselves, Neil Hoad, Peter Burdett, Ken Ireland etc etc. Ialways look out for the results and any news of the Club and would be delighted to hear from anyone who knew me. All the very best to everyone. Eric Lee smilie

MessageDear Spencer Thank you for your reply,I played for the club in the 60's under Eric Nicholls, Fred Setters and Jack Shreeve. I signed from Sutton United and ironically played in the Surry Senior Cup Final on Tooting & Mitcham's ground at Sandy Lane against my old club when we won 4-3 after extra time. Unfortunately I was badly concussed in extra time and spent 2 weeks in hospital having a hairline facture of my skull and so missed all the celebrations. It is quite interesting to see some of the Sutton United players, firstly Dario Gradi who went on, as you know, to be a highly respected manager at Crewe Alexandra and is now their Director of Football I believe. Ted Powell, who sadly passed away recently, played regularly for the England Amateur Team when we had one and Keith Blunt who went onto be an FA coach. The other quite well known player locally was Larry Pitchard who went onto manage a number of local clubs.I have got some cuttings from my time at the club with photos, I kept them to show any kids I had later on which I am glad I did as I have 2 sons. I also had a programme for every game I played in but stupidly threw them away one day when I was having a clear out, which I now regret! I will post to your home a few of the reports etc I have for your interest. You will see it is quite noticeable how large the crowds were in those days at that level of football. Spencer, keep up the
