MessageHi Doug,

The article in the PhilaInq about you, Carol and your quest is phenomenal! One of the best, most uplifting articles that I have EVER read!

If I didn't know you, I'd want to have the opportunity to get to know you, and I do! How great is that?!?!?

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your support team quite frequently every day and into the early morning hours. God speed.

Elliot

Messagesmilie Doug,
8 years ago, you and I were training for the Jersey double century. We both completed that ride and I've never forgotten the sense of accomplishment we both felt at that time. I was satisfied with the distance. But you wanted to push yourself further. Now, after riding with that soldier that returned from the war overseas, and promising to that young man you would ride across the country in honoring that young man, you have embarked on doing just that. If Lance Armstrong can say, "RAAM is the toughest race in the world", then all us recreational cyclists can only marvel at what you are attempting to accomplish. Being part of your support crew, and getting you ready for RAAM was a joy and something I'll never forget. Godspeed my friend.

MessageHey Doug,

It's good to read the updates and learn about your progress. I imagine that the adrenalin rush has flattened out by now and that you are in a head zone that will keep you in a great place as the miles roll bye under your pedal power.

We're at your back!

All the continued best,

Elliot

MessageGo Doug and Team CCI! All of our CCI volunteers, puppy raisers and graduates from the Capital Chapter are cheering you on as you head our way. Smell the muffins and hear the roars (and barks) from the crowd and keep on keeping on.

Nice job putting it all together team. We're with you in spirit and motivation. Where in Annapolis is the finish line?
