| Message | Our class president, Darrel McDaniel, sent this site to me. I think it is great and has certainly taken lots of work. I am an email junkie so would like to hear from anyone that remembers me. I have two grown children, one granddaughter and two great grandsons. All live in the KC area except my daughter who lives in Long Beach which is quite close to me. I love to hear news about Ottawa and no longer have any relatives left who live there. | Message | Great website. Can't get anything on the website because our classmates didn't graduate in the 50's or 60's. We graduated in 1949. We had 93 members in our class and 44 members are deceased. On October 3, 2009, we are having our 60th Reunion at Drivers in Ottawa. Looke like we will have between 35 and 40 in attendance. | Message | Decided I'd best write something here, haven't seen any of you in years -- not since the 25th reunion. Lots of water under the bridge, so to speak! Wish I were close enough, Daisy Day, to come to that park gathering. For a long time thought I might get back to the breakfasts. Would love to do that, but time and money are short right now. I am still working -- imagine that!! Anyone heading for AZ areas, please let me know! Would love to hang out and just talk. | Message | Hi, Betty Salmon Rogers just found me through my brother. I would love to know what has happened in your life. We moved to Topeka about 3 years ago after 32 years in Connecticut, after Arizona, after Ohio and West Virginia. I am married, have four childern and 7 grandchildren. My children are scattered all over. I am an OT and work at Capper Easter Seals in Topeka part time. Much has happened since I moved away from Ottawa. How can I contact other through this web site? | Message | Thanks for the info, Bill. I have sent it along by snail mail before I got here. If any other of my old classmates sees this, I would love the chance to get together again, even if informally. I know it takes a bunch of work to put on a reunion, but if we keep it simple and merely set a date, time, and location (Forest Park,maybe?)to get together and just yak at each other. Maybe a potluck? I guess I just plain like seeing everyone again. |
